KEEPSAKES

Keepsakes, curiosities and souvenirs; things that we all collect over the course of our lives. We usually have a particularly strong and personal attachment to these objects.
The concept of my work strives to create a unique place for these things of emotional value. This special space, which I conceive as a kind of shrine or altar, showcases the objects and emphasizes their value.The focus is on sorting and aesthetically arranging the items in order to create a visually appealing and harmonious presentation. Thus the shrine is more than just a storage space; it is a place of interaction that enables users to cultivate a personal connection to their special objects and appreciate their non-functional value.

The system of wooden bowls, boxes, stands and candle holders enables to freely design an individual keepsake shrine. The magnetic elements can be combined with each other in a variety of ways and serve as pedestals for our most cherished objects.
